IBS and Chronic Diarrhea
I tried taking digestive enzymes, went to see a gastroenterologist, and even worked with a chiropractor, but nothing helped. I needed to take large doses of Imodium just to try to function daily. I began to feel significant improvements in my condition after thirty five treatments at Abundance Acupuncture. At this point in time my condition feels 90 % better. I now feel less anxiety and much more positive. I am able to plan, for the first time in a long time, for vacations or trips where I stay overnight and eat out because the diarrhea is not interrupting my day. I am also sleeping and eating much better. During the treatments I felt peaceful and was grateful to have this time available to me. The clinic is warm and inviting and the staff is kind and caring. I would recommend acupuncture to anyone because we all have some physical problems. I have never tolerated medications well with my condition. This natural healing was my last chance, and it has been a blessing in my life. |

name is Donna C. I came to Abundance Acupuncture in June 2009 because I
had been suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome and chronic diarrhea for
over nine years. I had severe, explosive bouts of diarrhea that were
sometimes preceded by severe, painful abdominal cramping, but often came
with no warning at all. This made it difficult for me to sleep and left
me feeling fatigued, irritable, depressed, and hopeless. It was not easy
for me to take part in normal activities like going out to eat, go on
trips, or take part in family gatherings without a lot of anxiety.
