Step 2: Go to the corresponding point or points on the left hand & foot and thigh |
||||
Pain in the left jaw area |
LI
4 is often recommended for headaches, toothaches, and jaw pain. It
is a balancing point for frontal headaches, pain
around the jaw, and teeth. It is a powerful point if pressure
is applied correctly. Presto recommends pressing the point on the
RIGHT hand to treat pain on the LEFT side of the head. LI 4 is
easy to reach and can be used by itself or in combination with other
points. |
|||
SP 4 Is a balancing point for frontal headaches and jaw pain. It works well in combination with LI 4. Use the point on the right foot to treat pain on the left side of the head. If your jaw is tight and painful or worse with stress try using GB 31on the right leg in combination with SP 4 and LI 4. Press the GB 31 area deeply to locate a tender spot. Press GB 31 with your thumb or knuckle, breath deeply, and stretch the jaw open to release the muscles. |
GB 31 is located on the outside of the upper leg. If you hang your arm down loosely at the side of your body GB 31 is at your finger level in the middle of the side of the leg. |

Press hard enough to feel an achy sensation. If you do not feel an achy sensation press around the area and try to locate the most sensitive point. | Because the thumb is stronger than the index finger we recommend using the thumb to press on the point. Women with long finger nails may prefer to use the eraser end of a pencil or the rounded end of a marker pen.
Press on each of these points until you feel a deep achy sensation. Then take 3 or 4 deep, SLOW breaths while continuing to press. | Pressing with your thumb and wrapping your fingers around the hand or foot allows you to gradually press harder and harder until your feel a deep achy sensation.
Wow! That feels Better! |
Did you feel some relief? If your answer is yes
you may feel more improvements if you repeat this treatment after a
few minutes. If there is still any remaining pain or if the pain
returns you may repeat this treatment as often as you wish.
If the pain moves to a new area find the proper treatment
points for the new location and use the new points to eliminate the
pain.
If you feel significant improvement let us know. Your feedback will help PrestoPainGo become more and more effective. Email us at presto@acupuncturerestoreshealth.com and let us know which points were best for treating your problem. |

Hey! Is this supposed to work? |
No relief? Try these suggestions: 1. Check to be
certain that you started by selecting the image that
best matches the location
of pain on your body. If
you can find an image that is a better match try pressing those
points. If your pain
moves to a new location after you press the first set of points go
back to the previous page, select the image that best matches the
new pain location, and try using the new points. 2. Check the general
area around the point location by gently pressing to find the most
sensitive spot. Pressing
on the most sensitive spot in the area will usually give you the
best results. 4. Try points in the same area but, on the
opposite hand, foot, leg, or arm. 5. Select another
pain location image that is located close to the pain location on
your body. Try using these related point selections to see if you
get better results |
